What a bunch of garbage!

I don't know about you, but I've begun unsubscribing from any e-mail list that sends me a promotion for an obvious piece of crap... And that's been happening a lot lately.

One recent product launch that promised to "slay the gurus" was so bad I took myself off of eight lists immediately after the launch. That e-book sucked so bad, I can't believe the author had the nerve to sell it. It didn't even qualify as one of those seven dollar reports you see floating around... And it sold for 97 bucks!

So when I got an e-mail from Keith Baxter (a marketer I trust) suggesting I check out a new blog by a guy with a weird name (Woody Maxim), I was skeptical to say the least. Having garbage pushed down your throat day in and day out will do that. But curiosity got the best of me. And I was immediately impressed with what I saw.

He was claiming to be a former 10 million/year porn webmaster who had a career changing epiphany when his young daughter caught him working on one of his smut sites. If you know anything about marketing, you're well aware that the porn guys are the real marketing geniuses online. They just rarely talk about what they do. Virtually every marketing innovation some guru introduces to the world has been old hat in the porn industry for years.

If Woody Maxim was for real, he was going to know genuine marketing secrets that I wanted.

Woody wrote a scathing review of that same shoddy excuse of an e-book I mentioned earlier. At a time when virtually every so-called Internet marketing guru on planet Earth was practically calling it the second coming of Christ. This was a huge breath of fresh air.

But he'd never make a living selling it at that price.

He deliberately put himself between a rock and a hard place. If he doesn't deliver the goods, he'll never keep you as a subscriber and never make any money.

No front end $97 e-book here. He NEEDS to build a relationship with his subscribers to earn any profit at all.

I immediately recognized the trust he was trying to develop, so I subscribed right away. The first issue was in April and it outlined his Regnow  profit model. All I can say is wow.... Here was a method of marketing to general consumer groups (no Internet marketing products here), laid out in a step-by-step process that anyone could follow. Basically a high level, real underground tactic made so simple, even a newbie could follow it....

I've paid $67, $77 even $97 for full e-books that didn't have one 100th of the value he packed into that first little newsletter.
